Lookout Slough: Where the Tides Have Returned

Last winter, Dave and I rolled the canoe to the boat launch ramp at Lookout Slough, the largest wetland restoration project in the Delta.

We were determined to stay out of the water this time, and did. We saw lots of birds and other wildlife. It was a great--if cold--paddle!
